HIGHEST HOMOGENEITY AND STABILITY OF POPULATIONS AS THE RESULT OF DELIBERATE BREEDING OF MODERN NON-NARCOTIC MONOECIOUS HEMP

Summary

The dreams of many generations of farmers for mechanization of hemp harvesting, which were first introduced into production in the 30 years of the last century by Acad. M.M. Hryshko by creating of simultaneously ripening varieties, unfortunately, were not justified. But this did not stop the further search of several generations of scientists, accompanied by simultaneously solving a number of problems of methodology of breeding, including the formation of reorientation plant stand of monoecious hemp into more productive dominant sexual type – monoecious feminized pistillate hemp and elimination of narcotic properties. Also, due to the implementation of a number of other measures, new high-yielding varieties of non-narcotic monoecious hemp which meet modern production requirements were created.
